Jandiala (ਜੰਡਿਆਲਾ, जंड्याला, جنڈیالا) is a village in Jalandhar district in the Indian state of Punjab. Jandiala is also known as Jandiala Manjki, (A part of a small area known as Manjki region). Jandiala is located at the centre of a circle with its curvature passing through many major towns such as Nakodar (14Km), Jalandhar (20Km), Phagwara (14Km), Goraya (12Km), Phillaur(21Km) and Nurmahal (8Km).


Jandiala is a big village as compared to the surrounding villages. The post office opened in around 1910. Till this day the mail to the neighbouring villages is routed via Jandiala. At present Jandiala has 6 scheduled and 1 cooperative Banks. Yearly average rainfall of the census town is 673 mm. Maximum temperature here reaches up to 45°C and minimum temperature goes down to 2°C.



The census town is home to 8487 people, among them 4395 (52%) are male and 4092 (48%) are female. 66% of the whole population are from general caste, 34% are from schedule caste. Nirmal Singh Dhunsi was born in Jandiala Manjki and now lives in Trondheim, Norway.He is a well-known artist.His art-work has been purchased by many art institutions in Norway . Norwegian National Contemporary art Museum has recently purchased his art-work. He has been awarded a number of scholarships by the Norwegian State. In 2008, he received norwegian State-grant (GI).
