Hazara is a village in Jalandhar district of Punjab State, India. It is located 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) from district headquarter Jalandhar and 149 kilometres (93 mi) from state capital Chandigarh. Hazara Pin code is 144025 and postal head office is Jandu SinghaThe village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village.[1]

Gurudwara Thra Sahib Hazara Jalandhar it's history is that shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji stayed here with their followers on 20 Feb. 1665 when he was going to Anandpur Sahib From Baba Bakala Sahib. Nobody was living at this place at that time. there was an old man named Ran Singh and he was blessed by Teg Bahadur Ji. Since then this place is known as Hazara.
